What needed to change
The knowledge existed. It just wasn't reachable at the moment someone needed it.
In a knowledge-driven organisation, the most valuable asset is also the hardest to reach. It's spread across documents, projects and people, and every unanswered “where's the thing on…?” is time lost and consistency eroded.
The work had to fit workflows people already used: no new system to learn, and no leap of faith about where an answer came from.
What we built
Scoped before building
A focused discovery sprint defined exactly what the assistant draws on and how it should behave.
Answers inside Slack
The team can ask questions about company documents in Slack, with clear limits on what the assistant will and won't answer so it stays reliable.
Tooling and workshops
Additional workflow tooling and hands-on workshops so the team can read, change and extend the work themselves.
What changed
Teams can now ask for company knowledge in the tools they already use, instead of hunting for it.
